Bible Flow Chart from Solomon’s Temple to Modern Church Design

Posted by jdbsound on June 4, 2021

Here is a flow chart from Solomon’s Temple to Modern Churches. God designed this house of worship, not as a monument to be a relic of the past, but as a living testimony of being the God of the past, present, and future. This is something that would make for a great Bible study. The more you study Solomon’s Temple as I have, the more you see how it points to Jesus, His Church, and the Christian community today. Matt 5:18.

In a world where there are millions of Born-Again Christians, followers of Christ who understand their regeneration in the Holy Spirit and have a daily walk in Christ in faith, when it comes to a full Christian worship experience, many of them are being denied that blessing. Solomon’s Temple exposes most of the shortcomings most modern churches have today. These church buildings lack the ability to help Christian to experience full worship as described in the Bible. Over time, these shortfalls chip away at the decline in Church growth and the runaway fragmentation of the church body. Dysfunctional church designs and inadequate church acoustics is fueling the runaway drive turning most new and existing churches into houses of entertainment where the Gospel message is easily being watered down and no one seems to care. The focus is all about self-improvement and the sheep are starving.

In John 21:15-17, Jesus told Peter to feed His lambs and sheep. John 10, the whole chapter is about the relationship between the shepherd and the sheep. In Joshua 8:33-35, God commands that the scriptures be read to everyone, including strangers, both the good parts and the bad parts.

Poor congregational singing and misunderstood words will eat away at ministers and music leader’s confidence. Many of them know the truth but remain silent. It is time to fix the churches that we have and design new churches as God intended for us to have.

Study the flow chart. If there are any errors, let me know. This work is a result of 27 years of fixing and documenting over 300 churches with another 100 plus churches that copied from the 50 church examples posted who informed me of their successes and from studying over1400 churches since 1983. Visit my blog if you want to know more about the results in following God’s way to design churches and manage sound.
