Watering Down the Gospel

Posted by jdbsound on July 8, 2019

Years ago, someone wrote these two sentences to make a point about the quality of sound.

How to wreck a nice beach?

How to recognize speech?

In many churches, when these one of these two lines are spoken over the sound system quickly, regardless if they are using a headset mic, lapel or lectern mic, most people guess wrong when these two line are projected onto a screen.  You can have the best pastor around but if the acoustics are not up to Solomon’s Temple quality, the room could be watering down the message more than what many may believe.  The priority for sound in a house of God should always be quality of sound over quantity of sound.
